Your rights under the GDPR
- Access: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: have anything inaccurate or incomplete corrected.
- Erasure: have your data deleted, where we no longer need it. We must keep the amounts, dates and items on an order for six years for tax, but we remove your name and contact details from it.
- Restriction: ask us to stop using your data while a question about it is settled.
- Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to any direct marketing at any time.
- Portability: receive the data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format, or have it sent to someone else.
- Withdraw consent: where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time. It does not undo what was done before.
- Complain: to the Data Protection Commission if you think we have got something wrong.
How to ask
Email katherine@kts.ie or write to KTS, trading as Thunder Sports, 77 Main Street, Cavan, H12 R5Y3. Tell us which right you want to use and the email address you ordered or wrote to us with, so we can find your records.
We reply within one month. If a request is complex we may take up to two more months, and we will tell you if so. There is no charge, unless a request is clearly unfounded or repeated, in which case we may charge a reasonable fee or decline it, and explain why.
Checking it is you
Before we hand over or delete anything we may ask you to confirm something only you would know, such as the order number or the address it went to. That protects your data from someone pretending to be you.
Making a complaint
If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, 6 Pembroke Row, Dublin 2, D02 X963, through the form at https://www.dataprotection.ie. Phone 01 765 0100 or 1800 437 437 for general information.
